Privacy Policy
This site, haritina.com, is the presentation site of independent candidate for Mayor of Buzău, Haritina Crăiță. We comply with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). The Romanian text governing this relationship is Politica de confidențialitate; this page is its English summary.
What we collect
- Anonymous traffic statistics (PostHog) — only after you press „Accept” in the cookie banner. The data is pseudonymised; we do not create individual profiles. If you press „Refuz”, no statistics cookie is installed.
- Comments you submit — the name and e-mail address you type in the comment form, the text of the comment, and the IP address and time stamp that WordPress records automatically. The name and the comment text become visible to the public on that article only after we approve the comment. If you tick „Save my name, email…” the site stores them in a cookie in your browser for up to one year.
- Data you send voluntarily — if you write to office@haritina.com, we use your address only in order to answer you.
Legal basis
Consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) for traffic statistics; legitimate interest for comments and for correspondence.
How long we keep it
Statistics: a maximum of 24 months. Comments: for as long as the article stays online. Correspondence: for as long as needed to resolve it.
Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and portability. To exercise any of them, write to office@haritina.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian supervisory authority, ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro).
Transfers
Statistics are processed by PostHog Inc. (United States) on the basis of the Standard Contractual Clauses / the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. For comments, WordPress loads avatar images from Gravatar (Automattic, United States) by sending the MD5 hash of the e-mail address you typed. The site is hosted on servers of A2 Hosting.
